Original Sin
In the Old Testament it is believed that the apples described in the Garden of Eden in Genesis were actually apricots. This limited “Original Sin” shemagh release supports that theory and pays homage to the apricots “little known” place in history by keeping the availability select, limited and only known by those who dig beyond common belief.
Not only did the apricot play a seemingly important role in the Garden of Eden but has reared it’s fuzzy skin in other intriguing aspects of culture throughout the history of the world.
Apricots were used by the Australian Aborigines as an aphrodisiac. A special tea was prepared from the apricot stone, while the fruit was crushed and smeared over the erogenous regions. AKA Thizzycots.
Dreaming of apricots, in English folklore, is said to be good luck. Dreaming of fitted apricots is said to be super good luck.
The Turkish idiom “bundan iyisi Şamdak Ayısı” literally means, the only thing better than this is an apricot in Damascus and is used when something is the very best it can be; like a delicious apricot from Damascus. Even better, an Official fitted apricot/shemagh in Damascus means you’ve met the pinnacle of bliss.
